Аннотация
Рассматривается жизненный путь генерала армии Махмута Гареева и его вклад как доктора исторических и доктора военных наук в военную науку и военное строительство.
Реализуется биографический метод для структурирования данных и ключевых векторов служебного и военно-научного становления и развития авторитетного военного деятеля, крупного ученого, легендарной личности.
Раскрываются первые аналитические успехи фронтового периода, отраженные в характеристиках и аттестациях молодого офицера в 1944–1945 годах, а также опыт командования полковником М.А. Гареевым учебно-танковой дивизией, которая за ряд лет стала образцовой в Белорусском военном округе.
Отмечается роль генерал-полковника М. Гареева во внедрении в 70 – 80-х годах прошлого века подготовки и проведения опытных, экспериментальных учений по важнейшим проблемам военного искусства.
Подчеркивается повышенное значение разработки М. А. Гареевым комплекса современных вопросов, касающихся методологических основ военных наук, роли общенаучной классификации, анализа и оценки военной проблематики общественных, естественных и технических наук, а также невоенных форм борьбы с противником.
Констатируется современная значимость обоснованных М.А. Гареевым функций, объекта и предмета военной науки, ее междисциплинарного статуса и системообразующей роли с опорой на классификацию наук (по версии авторитетного советского ученого, академика Б. Кедрова).
Через призму оценок М.А.Гареева обозначаются существующие сегодня проблемы, среди которых и противоречивое отношение к военной науке.
